The San Francisco Bay Area is the second-most-important US market for Chinese tea brands, anchored by the dense Chinese-American populations of the South Bay (Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Fremont) and the East Bay (Fremont, Newark). The tech-industry workforce here overlaps heavily with the demographic that drove these brands' domestic popularity in China, creating strong demand for authentic Chinese tea drinks.

Cupertino and Sunnyvale, in particular, host a high concentration of premium and mid-range tea chains, with new Chinese-brand locations opening regularly. Fremont serves as a hub for the East Bay and draws customers from across the Tri-City area.
